Ricardo Parra

Ricardo Parra moved to the United States from Cordoba Veracruz, Mexico in 1999. After living in Georgia for 12 years, he relocated to Greenville, SC with his family in 2011. Along with Salvador Loa and Albino Altamirano, they opened La Esperanza Bakery. Parra and his partners have been successful in building their business and he credits his success to his interactions with his community. He has created bonds and has developed relationships with the Hispanic community and he continues to be interested in their well-being. Through this work, he recognizes that his next objective will be to create and work towards an environment of development and growth for the Hispanic Community in Greenville.

About the Event

Following the success of last year’s event, the 2016 ¡Impacto! Awards will highlight Hispanic professionals in our community who are shining examples of hard work, professionalism and success.

At ¡Impacto! we celebrate the innovators, the developers, the go-getters and the impactful. Our goal is to recognize the Hispanic businesses and professionals in South Carolina that make a difference—an impact. We know that businesses, no matter the size, can make vital and meaningful contributions to communities. We love to tell those stories. By showcasing a variety of Hispanic businesses at ¡Impacto!, we emphasize and celebrate the real impact these businesses and individuals have on South Carolina’s economy.
